Good afternoon. Its been a busy couple of days, as usual, and I am glad to have a moment to blog. My new schedule has me constantly moving and to sit and have a few quiet moments is nice :)
Yesterday my day started at 4:30am, when I had to get up to meet my personal training group at 5:15am. I ate some of my Summer Porridge and made a big glass of iced tea.

When I made my batch of Summer Porridge, instead of 2 cups of water, I added 1 cup of water and 1 cup of milk. This made it a little more creamy. I also popped it in the microwave for a minute to warm up the blueberries and walnuts. I sprinkled more cinnamon on top and scarfed it down. It is a very filling breakfast. At my normal breakfast time of 9:00am I had a banana and a scoop of almond butter before I went to work.
After work I met Ryan at home, we changed and headed out to SUBU. Last nights WOD was a 10 minute ARMAP (as many rounds as possible) with:
5 - Deadlifts
10 - Plyometric Push Ups
5 - Deadlifts
15 - Weighted Sit Ups with a 15lb. weight.
I made it through 5 rounds plus 5 deadlifts and 10 plyo push ups. I did deadlifts at 105lbs. I have been really trying to focus on improving my endurance so I have been lowering my weights and trying to move as quickly as I can through the WODs.

After SUBU I whipped up some Baked Chicken Strips and Green Beans that I topped with chopped tomatoes and garlic. I heated up a pan and added olive oil and garlic. After about 30 seconds I added a box of Pomi Tomatoes. I love these tomatoes for multiple reasons. They are 100% natural tomatoes, with no preservatives, citric acid, or added water. They also come in a BPA-free, stay fresh box. I used the sauce to put over both my chicken and green beans! Quick and Tasty.
I also finally made the Soba Noodle recipe earlier this week and it is going on my list to repeat. The sauce requires a lot of ingredients but was fairly easy once you have them all lined up. I was able to eat the leftovers twice this week for lunch :)
This weekend should be a relaxing one. I can't wait for it to start!! Happy Friday :)
